Technology is quickly changing the landscape for many industries, and insurance is no exception. Consumers have access to online resources (like Ask an Agent and Insurance–in Plain English) to guide them through their insurance questions, but what about professionals in the industry? Fortunately, there’s no shortage of events to keep agents and industry leaders up to date on trends and tech, and even those that may seem a little less related to car insurance are beneficial.
Here is The Zebra’s roundup of insurance tech conferences to attend in 2017:
Dig|In, presented by the media company of the same name (formerly Insurance Networking News), has grown to a three-day event, focusing on the digital future of insurance. Technology gurus and strategy staff from several U.S. insurance carriers will attend to network, engage and convene about what’s next in insurtech.

Looking for the world’s largest gathering of insurance leaders? You’ll find them at InsureTech Connect. Expect more than 3,000 attendees, 200 speakers and 50 sessions across two full conference days for a comprehensive look at the industry as a whole, as well as specific issues facing all components of the growing industry. Founder Jay Weintraub told us, “My love of insurance began during my years as founder of LeadsCon, which began in 2008. And, it wasn’t the corporate side of insurance that got me hooked; it was interactions with forward-thinking agents. Seeing agency owners, who were not dinosaurs but entrepreneurs in the own right, had me taking a closer look at the industry as a whole.”
